British council did a wonderful job convening it.
It was a dream to have this kind of conversations in Sri Lanka.
Back in 2006, when I started the journey, I never thought this much progress was possible.
War ended, internet penetrated thick and fast, and it seems all the stars are aligning fast.
Good to see this. More on the conversations will follow as separates blogs later.
I for one, is inspired and energized.

So glad to have connected with fellow Social Entrepreneurs. The need for a collaborative framework among Social Entrepreneurs, government and the education sector was echoed unanimously! Lets work together to make what others perceive as impossible, first probable. Then lets push the probable to a reality!
Hi Gavin,
Though this reply is long overdue, recent developments add further in to our optimism.
Let's talk in length when you are in SL
Good one Isura! I can remember the days I used to buy cassettes by cheating on my tuition fees and once I got caught to my mom and she burned all those cassettes. Those cassettes were worth nearly Rs 10,000.00 in mid 1990's :D Nostalgia!
Glad to know that you have a wide range of taste in music. I'm a fan of ghazals too, and still listen to them while working. Good post.
I used to allocate food money. I came to Colombo for CIMA classes. In 2000 M entertainment was bringing in Sony Music cassettes. I remember buying 'FireHouse' album, it was Rs. 230/- at that time. :)
Who's your favorite Ghazal artist ?
For future ref, this one has all info in one place: http://justdelete.me/
