It is said that Tajmahal was built 2 times. One in Agra - the actual structure. The other in the mind of the architect - to minute details. Thing is, if it had not been visualized in his mind to exact detail before constructing, it would never have been breath-taking.
So every action that we undertake produces the result that we visualize. It has a tremendous energy and purpose. In Alice in Wonderland, Alice asks " Where am I?" from some animal. Then the animal asks " Where do you wanna go?" Alice replies " I am not sure." Finally the animal says " Ah, in that case, you are in the right place."
Like wise, visualization allows our mind to go the journey, to embrace the success we seek. This is not fantasizing or day dreaming. This prepares us for the journey.
- Visualizing helps to focus attention on the steps needed to reach the goal.
- Visualizing reduces the anxiety
When you visualize, you are simply creating pictures in your own mind of doing, having or being whatever it is you desire. These pictures will generate powerful thoughts and feelings in you. These powerful positive feelings, in turn, help you create and attract whatever it is you want to be, have, or do.
Take time each day to imagine what it will be like for you when you have achieved the goal or goals you want now.
Use all your senses.
