In 2 hours, Colombo celebrates Social Media Day 2012. As of now, Mashable indicates 1600+ cities around the world are celebrating June 30th as Social Media Day. It was started in 2010. For Colombo this is the second event. First in 2010, now the second in 2012.
Today, I will be presenting " Social Media to lift economy of rural communities" based on the work at Sarvodaya-Fusion, to 150+ social media enthusiasts. It starts at 4 PM at Excel World.
It will be followed by sessions from 'SL meme' and JehanR.
Gonna be fun. Excited.
