Pause.
Write down what you have achieved. In a journal, in your words, as if you are talking with your mind.
Write the best parts, even if it is minute.
Write the worst parts, just to get it out of your head.
So when you step out of office, you are open to the world as it is. Traffic will not frustrate you, shop queues will not depress you.
